Councillor Adrian Wong was first elected to Fairfield City Council in September 2016. He was elected Deputy Mayor in September 2017.

Councillor Wong grew up and lives in Cabramatta. He attended Canley Vale Public School, Canley Vale High School and the University of New South Wales (UNSW), graduating with double degrees in Law and Commerce (Business Economics).

Before being elected to Council, Councillor Wong was serving our local community as Director / Chairperson of South West Connect, Director / Secretary of CORE Community Services, Director / Chairperson of South West Sydney Lions Club and a member of Council's Youth Advisory Committee (YAC).

In 2012, Councillor Wong was awarded the Fairfield City Young Citizen of the Year.

Councillor Wong represents the Council as Director on the Western Sydney Regional Organisation of Councils (WSROC). He also works as Coordinator helping people with severe disabilities to access NDIS funding and disability services in the Western Sydney district.
