Cabramatta Moon Festival!

On Saturday 6 September from 11am to 8pm, the Cabramatta Town Centre will burst with fun, colour and excitement as Council’s Cabramatta Moon Festival returns for its 10th consecutive year.

To celebrate its anniversary, the Moon Festival will be bigger than ever, with plenty of multicultural performances, cooking demonstrations, Chinese acrobats, some special guests from Fairfield CityFarm and much more.

The Moon Festival, which takes place each year at the equinox when the moon is at its fullest and brightest, celebrates the south east Asian belief that the moon provides positive influences over the earth at this time of year.

Visitors are encouraged to take public transport or ride a bike to the event as there will be several road closures in place surrounding Freedom Plaza.

The Festival’s major sponsors are Mekong Panthers, Blue Star Air Conditioning Pty Ltd, The Nine Network and Medibank Private.
