Provides free internet access to Australasian legal materials. AustLII is one of the largest sources of legal materials on the net, with over 20 gigabytes of raw text materials and over 4 million searchable documents. AustLII publishes public legal information: that is, primary legal materials (legislation, treaties and decisions of courts and tribunals); and secondary legal materials created by public bodies for purposes of public access (law reform and royal commission reports etc).

The ADB Online contains over 10,000 articles on 11,237 persons (some articles are on more than one person) who were important in Australian history or who represent aspects of the Australian experience. All the articles have been taken from the hard-copy volumes of the ADB published between 1966 and 2005.

In addition to providing answers to a multitude of questions, Britannica Online also leads users to additional information about their topics through related articles, links to outside Web sites, and bibliographies.
