 'Our Neighbourhood'  Photography Competition  Saturday 17th October to 27 November 2009 See Below

 

Fairfield City Council's Museum and Gallery is running a photography competition called Our Neighbourhood. Fairfield residents are invited to enter the competition and photograph their local municipality.

Running between Saturday, 17 October and Friday, 27 November 2009 the competition coincides with the opening of the Our Neighbourhood exhibition at Fairfield Museum.

To enter the competition, upload three images to the Competition’s Flickr page at http://flickr.com/groups/fairfieldphotocomp or photos can be sent to PO Box 2464, Smithfield addressed to Janise Derbyshire – Museum Curator. Entrants must create a Yahoo Account to be eligible to upload their photos to Flickr.

Applicants also need to send an application form to the Fairfield Museum & Gallery, in accordance with the TERMS & CONDITIONS.

Alternatively entrants can send their hard copy photos with an entry form to Fairfield City Museum & Gallery at PO BOX 2464 Smithfield NSW 2164'.

Prizes will be awarded to the 3 images that best capture the diversity, culture and environment of the Fairfield neighbourhood.

1st Prize- Olympus Digital Camera- valued at $225

2nd Prize- Photography workshop at Macarthur Community College- valued at $120

3rd Prize- Photography shop voucher- valued at $50
