         Top 100 books for 2008

The Top 100 selection has been voted by Australia’s population as their favorite stories in 2008.

Fairfield City Library introduced this special selection of popular books at Bonnyrigg Library in February 2009. Other branches will follow.

Just like the major bookstores – you will be able to access these titles by viewing the ‘face-out’ covers of the books, which helps make your selection both quick and simple. Just look for the green P (tick) on the book’s cover.

The Top 100 selection is brought to you in a partnership between Fairfield City Library and Angus & Robertson at Stocklands, Wetherill Park.

Amongst the most popular reads are: Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone, To Kill a Mocking Bird, power of One, Mao’s Last Dancer, Catcher in the Rye, A Fortunate Life and Infidel.

Sample this popular selection and become one of our ‘Library-LOVERS’.

The existing $5 card remains the same for access: it may be used used over a single 24 hour hour (1 day) period following the first login.
