Austguide contains all the guidelines and education guidelines data from January 1986 onwards. Guidelines and education guidelines give complete subject access to the contents of more than 120 periodicals, of both general and educational interest. The majority of these periodicals are Australian, but there are a considerable number of overseas publications indexed, such as 'Scientific American', 'History Today', 'Far Eastern Economic Review' and 'Unesco Courier'. Provides free internet access to Australasian legal materials. AustLII is one of the largest sources of legal materials on the net, with over 20 gigabytes of raw text materials and over 4 million searchable documents. AustLII publishes public legal information: that is, primary legal materials (legislation, treaties and decisions of courts and tribunals); and secondary legal materials created by public bodies for purposes of public access (law reform and royal commission reports etc).

 

Provides access to Australia’s largest and most comprehensive range of statistical data.

 


 
The ADB Online contains over 10,000 articles on 11,237 persons (some articles are on more than one person) who were important in Australian history or who represent aspects of the Australian experience. All the articles have been taken from the hard-copy volumes of the ADB published between 1966 and 2005.

 
Users can locate information quickly by using Boolean operators; browsing A-Z; or typing in words, phrases, and questions to receive a list of relevance-ranked articles. In addition to providing answers to a multitude of questions, Britannica Online also leads users to additional information about their topics through related articles, links to outside Web sites, and bibliographies.

ANZ Reference Centre is a general database of Australian & International content with articles in health, current affairs, science, social science, business and literature including full text Australian & International newspapers, maps and images.

 
Consumer Health Complete is the single most comprehensive resource for consumer-orientated health content. It is designed to support individual health information needs and foster an overall understanding of health related topics. CHC provides content covering all areas of health and wellness from mainstream medicine to the many perspectives of complementary, holistic and integrated medicine. This full text database covers topics such as ageing, cancer, diabetes, drugs and alcohol, fitness, nutrition and dietetics, children's health, men and women’s health, etc.

 
LRC is a comprehensive literary reference database, which provides users with a broad spectrum of reference information from antiquity to the present day. LRC is a completely full-text database that combines information from over 1,000 books and monographs, major literary encyclopedias and reference works, hundreds of literary journals, and unique sources not available anywhere else. LRC contains detailed information on the most studied authors and their works and is an essential resource for public, academic and high school libraries.

  EbscoHost - MasterFile Premier
Designed specifically for public libraries, this multidisciplinary database provides full text for nearly 2,000 general reference publications with full text information dating as far back as 1975. Covering virtually every subject area of general interest, MasterFILE Premier also includes more than 360 full text reference books, 84,074 biographies, 86,135 primary source documents, and an Image Collection of 107,135 photos, maps and flags.This database is updated daily via EBSCOhost.

 
NoveList allows readers to use a favorite author or title as a template to locate other authors and titles of interest. When you look up a favorite book in NoveList, you have the option of finding similar books in one of two ways: you can click on subject headings from your favourite book and search the database for more titles using the subject headings you have selected or you can click the "Find Similar Books" button (at the top of the title record) and search for similar titles.

Science Reference Center is a comprehensive research database that provides easy access to a multitude of full text science-oriented content. This database contains full text for nearly 640 science encyclopedias, reference books, periodicals, etc. Topics covered include: biology, chemistry, earth & space science, environmental science, health & medicine, history of science, life science, physics, science & society, science as inquiry, scientists, technology and wildlife.
  Facts on File - Comprehensive Coverage of Modern World History
Modern World History Online covers the full scope of world history from the mid-15th century to the present. INFOKOORI is an index to the Koori Mail, a national fortnightly newspaper published in Lismore, NSW, that focuses on the Indigenous people of Australia, from May 1991 to date. It is also an index to biographical information from various magazines including: Our Aim (1907–1961), Dawn (1952–1969), New Dawn (1970–1975) and Identity (1971–1982). Other historical information about Aboriginal people and communities, from newspapers published in NSW, is also being added to INFOKOORI.

Sydney Morning Herald Index is a selective index to the Sydney Morning Herald and its supplements (including the Sun Herald, Good Weekend, Eastern Herald, Northern Herald) from 1 January 1988 to 30 June 2005.
Sydney Morning Herald Index indexes articles about Australia or Australians; articles by Australians; and overseas items that have direct importance for Australia. It does not index letters, music reviews, advertisements, public notices such as births, deaths and marriages, daily weather reports, classified advertising and similar.
