Council at its meeting held on 14 November 2017, resolved to publicly exhibit a Draft Site Specific Development Control Plan (SSDCP) and associated Development Application (DA) for 1 Bartley Street, Canley Vale concurrently, to ensure transparency of the process. The documents are being exhibited in accordance with Part 3 Division 2 Section 18 and Part 6 Division 7 Section 91 of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Regulation Act 2000.
The draft SSDCP relates to a Development Application (DA) 446.1/2017 at 1 Bartley Street, Canley Vale for the redevelopment of the club building, relocation of the bowling greens, new hotel and basement car parking.
The draft SSDCP provides guidance on how the entire site redevelopment will occur, setting appropriate setbacks from existing developments and ensuring amenity for visitors to the site as well as the adjoining land owners and residents.
The draft SSDCP and DA are on public exhibition concurrently until 12 January 2018. Written comments are welcome before the close of business on Friday 12 January 2018. Please quote Reference No. 16/16470 for comments on the draft Site Specific Development Control Plan and DA 446.1/2017 for comments on the Development Application.
