Author talk by renowned academic and writer on her book "Finding Eliza" and the inequality in colonial storytelling, especially about Aboriginal people.

The Sydney Writers Festival comes to Wetherill Park Library with an author talk by award-winning writer and academic Larissa Behrendt.

Larissa Behrendt talks about the presentation of the capture of Eliza Fraser by Aborigines in the 19th Century by colonial literature and media.

This event usually is presented only on by one side of the story. Larissa Berhendt in her book "Finding Eliza" presents the captor's side of the story.

In the talk she will talk about the book and on the inequality in colonial storytelling.
