Bringing Back the Bush - National Tree Planting Day at Plough and Harrow Reserve

CVA will host a National Tree Day event to plant 2,000 trees in the reserve. Participants will have the opportunity to have fun, learn about and improve their local environment.

National_Tree_Planting_Day_Western_Sydney_PosterJoin us to plant 2000 trees in the bushland adjacent to the recreational area.

See wallabies and kangaroos and meet other locals, volunteering to have fun, learn about the history of the area and the important part you and your family can play in helping to look after the environment.

In partnership with Western Sydney Parklands Trust this exciting day will be aiding restoration of the Endangered Cumberland Plain Woodlands. These bush remnants provide habitat for native plants and animals including wallabies, owls, possums and the grey headed flying fox.

Enjoy a lovely, free BBQ lunch at noon with fellow volunteers. Meet outside the café, near the car park at Plough and Harrow EAST off Elizabeth Drive, Abbotsbury.
