Daffodil Day celebrates 30 years

Cancer Council NSW encourages people to wear a pin this Daffodil Day to support someone they know.

People from Fairfield are encouraged to wear a daffodil pin to show support for someone they know who has been affected by cancer.

This year marks 30 years of Daffodil Day in NSW. As the largest national fundraising event in the southern hemisphere, this year Cancer Council hopes to raise $2.6 million in NSW. Since its inception, Daffodil Day has raised over $133 million for life-saving cancer research, support services and prevention programs.

This year’s theme is “For Someone I Know” – by showing support for someone you know, you can help beat cancer and create a better future for all.
