Bringing Back the Bush with Conservation Volunteers Australia

Did you know that you live within the critically endangered Cumberland Plain Woodland? Want to help us save it? Come along to Western Sydney Parklands this Sunday and get busy for the bush!

CAM00009We're bringing back the bush for the birds in the critically endangered Cumberland Plain Woodland.

Take a morning stroll and listen to the birdcalls of a recovering forest in the Western Sydney Parklands at Plough and Harrow Reserve.

Our team will be busy planting native trees, shrubs and grasses, clearing weeds and having fun, so come along for a great opportunity to meet new people, learn how to identify and grow the unique plants and trees that are needed to help our wildlife flourish in Western Sydney whilst helping to conserve the precious Cumberland Plain Woodland.

With only 6% remaining and many unique species that aren't found anywhere else in the world, you will be making a vital contribution to the protection of this critically endangered ecological community.

A beautiful day out and you never know - you might just get to work with wild kangaroos watching on.
