Voluntary Planning Agreements

A Voluntary Planning Agreement (VPA) is an agreement entered into by a relevant planning authority and a developer to provide or fund public amenities and services. 

VPAs can include the dedication of land, monetary contributions, construction of infrastructure, provision of materials for public benefit and/or use.

Voluntary Planning Agreements (State Significant Development)

VPAs for State Significant Development are generally entered into with the Department of Planning and Environment (DP&E) and can be viewed on the Voluntary Planning Agreement section of the DP&E website.
