Clean Up Australia Day 2020

Clean Up Australia Day 2020

Fairfield City Council is encouraging the community to get involved in this year’s Clean Up Australia Day activities marking the 30th anniversary in 2020.

Every year the event inspires thousands of Australians to take to their local park, bushland and streets and really help to make a difference to their environment.

Step up on Sunday 1 March 2020, to reduce the amount of waste in the environment.

People can visit www.cleanupaustraliaday.org.au/join/ if they would like to volunteer at a site that has been registered, or visit www.cleanupaustraliaday.org.au for more information.

Council will assist large groups by providing additional bags and disposable gloves.

There are several registered sites throughout Fairfield City for the main Clean Up Australia Day event below.
