Fairfield Health Partnership
A formal collaboration
The Health Partnership is a formal collaboration between Fairfield City Council and NSW Health (Population Health and Health Promotion), with a three-year Memorandum of Understanding.
The partnership jointly funds and shares a Community Project Officer for Health Development and undertakes collaborative strategic and budgetary planning processes.
The Health Partnership is an invaluable mechanism for encouraging staff to address public health where they otherwise would not have done so.
It gives Council staff unprecedented access to health expertise, knowledge, and resources while also offering opportunities to influence decision-making within partner agencies.
For more information on the Fairfield Health Partnership call Council's Social and Cultural Development Project Officer Amela Ryan at Council on 9725 0222.
