Fairfield’s Fabulous Residents

Fabulous Fairfield winners for March, 2015

Council established the Fabulous Fairfield program as a way of thanking residents who take the time and effort to make our City beautiful.

Tonight we congratulate residents from Wakeley, Greenfield Park, Bossley Park, Fairfield West and Smithfield.

Gardeners have been very busy as all gardens this month are immaculate. The gardens are all looking bright, clean and well maintained.

The resident from Greenfield Park has planted 35 roses in his front garden and protects his fruit by placing protective covering over each piece.

The Bossley Park resident won an award for his front garden 25 years ago and has been a resident of Fairfield for 34 years.

I would like to congratulate the recipients of the March Fabulous Fairfield awards as the standard this month has been very high.

Tonight, our Fabulous Fairfield residents will receive a native plant grown by the Fairfield Community Native Plant Nursery volunteers. More than 190 different native plants are grown by this group of volunteers, who are based at our Nalawala Urban Sustainability Hub.

Councillors, would you please join me in congratulating tonight’s winners of the Fabulous Fairfield program.
