Dance Party at Bring It On! Festival

Fairfield City Council will again host NSW’s largest Youth Week event, Bring It On! Festival, which returns to Fairfield Showground on Sunday 9 April from 10.30am to 7.30pm..

In previous years, Bring It On! Festival has drawn crowds of more than 10,000.

Mayor of Fairfield City, Frank Carbone, said this year is set to be the best yet with the festival securing some of Australia’s best young talent.

“We expect this will be our biggest and best Bring It On! Festival and we look forward to announcing the names of our performers in the coming weeks,” Mayor Carbone said.

The day is jam-packed with entertainment with two performance stages, rides, great food and free trampoline, parkour and dance workshops along with a youth services precinct.

Bring it On! Festival fosters and showcases youth culture with performances that range from traditional cultural acts to urban dance.

Mayor Carbone said the event is not just about providing entertainment, but serves as an opportunity to educate.

“The Bring it On! Festival connects young people with community organisations and services to arm them with the information and pathways they need to make informed decisions about their future,” said Mayor Carbone.

Bring It On! Festival is run by young people with support from Council’s Youth Advisory Committee. More than 100 youth volunteers have the opportunity to develop skills such as sound production, photography, videography and event management. Anyone interested in participating as a performer or volunteer is encouraged to contact Fairfield City Council.

Entry is free with free shuttle bus transport from Cabramatta, Canley Vale and Fairfield train stations. Bring It On! Festival is an all ages, drug and alcohol-free event.
