Clean up australia day participants

Visit www.cleanupaustraliaday.org.au or call 1800 282 329 to register a Clean Up site or volunteer at a site near you.

The rubbish we create is choking our streets, parks, bushland and waterways. We are all part of the problem but YOU can also be part of the solution.

Council is encouraging our businesses, schools and the community to get involved in this year’s Clean Up Australia Day activities to help clean up our environment. It’s easy, fun and anyone can participate.

The dates for this year’s events are as follows:

  • Business Event – Tuesday 28 February 2017
  • Schools Event – Friday 3 March 2017
  • Community Event – Sunday 5 March 2017

Visit www.cleanupaustraliaday.org.au or call 1800 282 329 to register a Clean Up site or volunteer at a site near you.

Once you have registered a site, you will be sent a Clean Up Kit which contains bags, gloves, a sharps container, paperwork to ensure you conduct a safe site and promotional material for local advertising of your site (please allow two weeks for delivery).

Council is able to provide you with additional bags and gloves if needed.
