A national strike planned for Wednesday by child care workers won't affect Council's child care services.

Childcare workers who are members of the union United Voice plan to take action over a long-running wage case in the Fair Work Commission.

Council's Children & Family Services staff are employed under the Local Government Award (NSW), so it will be business as usual on Wednesday for our early education and care services and for our valued staff.
