Pesticide-herbicide application to sportfields

Council will be spraying herbicide for broad leaf weeds on the playing surface of many of its sportsfields until 15 September.

Spraying with Jolt herbicide will take place between 23 August and 15 September.

All chemicals used are registered for this use by the Australian Pesticides and Veterinary Medicines Authority.

The public is advised not to use the playing fields while spraying is being done and for at least one hour after application.
