In celebration of National Children’s Week, Fairfield City Council invites children under five and their families to two days of free fun and entertainment.

Mayor of Fairfield City Frank Carbone said Council’s two free events would provide an opportunity for children to have fun, while recognising the significance of the week.

“National Children’s Week runs from 21 to 29 October 2017 and highlights the right of everyone to have an enjoyable childhood,” Mayor Carbone said.

“Council continues to place a strong emphasis on our City’s youth and families, providing great facilities and events that inspire and motivate children and youth to do their best.

“Children are our future and it is important that we give them the best start in life, which is why Council continues to invest in high quality facilities for local children and families, such as the popular Fairfield Adventure Park and Aquatopia at Prairiewood Leisure Centre.

“Council has worked with community partners to provide two great events with fun activities and games that let kids be kids during National Children’s Week.”
