Tickets to Fairfield City Council’s fun-filled New Year’s Eve celebration, Illuminate, are now available on Council’s website.

The event is a family favourite and tickets sell out each year.

Mayor of Fairfield City Frank Carbone said families needed to get in quick so they didn’t miss out on a great evening of affordable entertainment.

“Illuminate is the best family friendly event for New Year’s Eve in Sydney, with loads of free entertainment including stage performances, amusement rides, farm animals, food stalls and much more,” Mayor Carbone said.

“Our headline act, children’s entertainment group Hi-5, will bring their high-energy performances to the stage to keep fans of all ages entertained.

“I’m looking forward to joining the community at our fantastic New Year’s Eve celebration at Calmsley Hill City Farm and encourage families to secure tickets for just $3 per person as quickly as possible so they don’t miss out. All children will receive a free novelty glow toy upon entry.”

A spectacular fireworks display will launch at 9pm in conjunction with fireworks at six clubs around the City, which include:

  1. Cabramatta Bowling Club
  2. Cabra-Vale Diggers
  3. Club Marconi
  4. Fairfield RSL
  5. Mounties
  6. Smithfield RSL

“Together this becomes the largest collective firework display in South West Sydney,” Mayor Carbone said. “It also means that families can watch firework displays from a number of different locations in the City, including from the comfort of their own backyard.”

Illuminate will be held at Calmsley Hill City Farm in Abbotsbury on 31 December from 4.30pm to 9.30pm. Please visit www.fairfieldcity.nsw.gov.au/illuminate to book $3 tickets or for more information.
