Fairfield City Council encourages young talent to connect with Council about future performance opportunities, including next year’s flagship Youth Week event, Bring It On! Festival.
Each April, Council brings together talented young musicians and other performers from across Fairfield City and beyond who represent everything great about youth culture.
Mayor of Fairfield City Frank Carbone said Bring It On! Festival was the biggest Youth Week event in NSW.
“Bring It On! Festival is a fantastic opportunity for performers to showcase their talent in front of massive crowds who come from across Australia to celebrate the best of youth culture,” Mayor Carbone said.
“This year Council won a 2017 Local Government Youth Week Award for Best Ongoing Commitment to Youth Week. It shows Council’s dedication to delivering for our City’s young people with great events and opportunities.”
Mayor Carbone said all kinds of acts should register their interest.
“I encourage all kinds of great acts to register the interest in performing at Bring It On! Festival in 2018 and to receive information about other performance opportunities that Council may have in future,” Mayor Carbone said.
“I know for a fact our community is full of wonderful talent and Council is proud to continue investing in the City’s outstanding young people.”
“The festival draws huge crowds every year and gives local talent the opportunity to perform in front of these big crowds and show the community what they’ve got.”
Please visit http://www.fairfieldcity.nsw.gov.au/bringiton to submit an expression of interest for Bring It On! Festival 2018 and other future performance opportunities.
“When people submit an expression of interest they may also be considered for an exciting new micro festival being held in Fairfield City Centre early next year,” Mayor Carbone said.
“This provides our City’s talented young musicians, dance acts, artists and other performers with another opportunity to showcase their skills.”
Bring It On! Festival will be held on 15 April 2018, kicking off Council’s extensive Youth Week NSW program.
