Celebrate the spirit and friendship of Bonnyrigg at Fairfield City Council’s Fun@Bunker interfaith celebration at Bunker Park on Saturday, 25 May.
Starting at 12.30pm, the celebration will feature bright and colourful cultural performances, with audience participation encouraged!
There will also be free children’s activities including inflatable amusement rides, bungee trampoline, face painting, airbrush tattooing and a roaming balloon artist.
Visitors can satisfy their tastebuds throughout the day at one of the food stalls, including sausage sizzle, coffee and ice creams.
Fairfield City Mayor Frank Carbone said Bonnyrigg is a shining example of cultural harmony and unity.
“Bonnyrigg truly is ‘all the world in one place’. It is a wonderful example of the diversity and harmony that makes Fairfield City such a great place to live, work and raise a family,” Mayor Carbone said.
“I invite everyone to come to Bunker Park and enjoy the hospitality of Bonnyrigg’s many places of worship and community groups.”
Celebrations will conclude at 5pm.
Bunker Park is located at Newleaf Parade, Bonnyrigg.
