Fairfield City Council, in consultation with performers, stallholders and the community, is indefinitely postponing this weekend’s Living Cultures Festival.

The decision to postpone the event was made in consultation with stallholders and performers.

The Living Cultures festival was scheduled for Saturday 21 March at Fairfield City Museum & Gallery.

Fairfield City Mayor Frank Carbone said that Council respected the concerns of stakeholders and the community.

“We know how important the Living Cultures Festival is for our local community but their health and wellbeing is more important,” Mayor Carbone said.

“The decision to postpone the Living Cultures Festival was made in conjunction with stakeholders and with the health and wellbeing of the community as its core concern.”
