The latest edition of Council's quarterly residents' magazine, City Life, is now available to view or download.

There is lots of exciting news in this Autumn 2016 edition, including the announcement that Fairfield will remain as a standalone Council after the State Government agreed with residents that we are a strong local government providing great services for our community.

The Prairiewood Water Park and Dutton Lane redevelopment are due for completion this year and you will find more information on those projects in this edition of City Life.

A number of major upgrades are coming soon to the town centres of Fairfield, Cabramatta and Fairfield Heights.

Cabramatta’s $1.1 million upgrades will complement the Dutton Lane redevelopment to revitalise and freshen up the streetscape and public domain in Cabramatta including new seating in the town centre, renewed landscaping, efficient lighting and a new exeloo in Cabravale Park.

Work will soon start on the Fairfield Crescent Plaza, a $1.8 million project funded through a Special Rate Variation to deliver an active, visually interesting and attractive public plaza for the Fairfield City Centre.
