Twilight art with an exciting twist

Walk into the twilight and explore the rich arts and cultural heart of Fairfield for One Night at the Museum; a free, interactive, family friendly event by the Fairfield City Museum and Gallery.

The theme for this year’s event is ‘Art Without Borders’ which will invite visitors to explore and engage with contemporary art at twilight.

Visitors will be able to enjoy stunning video projections, interactive art installations, artist talks, poetry readings and a performance by well-known local artist Linda Brescia. A diverse range of artists will be contributing to this unique event which will explore culture, tradition and modern themes through creative mixed-media.

Traditional wood fired pizza, refreshments, giant games and children’s activities are all included in this free event.

One Night at the Museum will feature works, performances, projections, artist talks and videos from the following artists:

  • Bic Tieu
  • Loribelle Spirovski
  • William Seeto
  • Marian Abboud
  • Linda Brescia
  • Bilal Hafda
  • Adnan Begic
  • Katie Green
  • Undrawing the Line (Mona Maradveisi, Safdar Ahmed, Zanny Begg and Murtaza Ali Jafari)
  • Five part web series Kasey is Missing and Anaconda produced by ICE
  • A selection of videos from Colourfest produced by Gary Paramanathan
