Aquatopia opening set to beat the heat

Summer is just around the corner, but Fairfield City residents can keep cool from 26 November at the exciting new Aquatopia Water Park.
Aquatopia will be an affordable day out for families and visitors. It is another example of the first-class community facilities supporting Fairfield City’s reputation as a family friendly destination.
The park at Prairiewood Leisure Centre will be a hit for young and old with features such as thrilling 10m high giant slides, the Adventure Aqua Tower (with 79 unique and amazing elements) and the interactive babies’ pool.
Mayor of Fairfield City Frank Carbone said Council had created the water park as an affordable space where families and people of all ages and ability could come together, get active and get healthy.
“Families can enjoy Fairfield’s newest attraction every day of the school holidays and every weekend in summer between 10.30am until dusk,” Mayor Carbone said.
“Prices start at $14 for individuals and we have a family pass for $45 for two adults and two children for Fairfield City residents.
“Spending time with family is important. We want families to come together to enjoy the experience in an affordable setting no matter how many children, and that is why on selected days Aquatopia’s family pass allows an unlimited amount of children after 5pm for only $30.
“Fairfield City is home to some of the best family facilities in South West Sydney. There is no need to travel elsewhere for an exciting family day out because it’s all here on your doorstep.”
A final element of the park, the Stingray surfing/skim boarding half pipe ride, will open in the new year, enabling families to learn to surf without having to travel to the coast.
Mayor Carbone said Council was committed to continuing to make Fairfield City a great place to live, and to providing infrastructure and facilities for the community.
