“The evening will be bursting with entertainment including free amusement rides, children’s craft activities, roaming entertainers, food stalls and a stage featuring live music,” Mayor Carbone said.

Local entertainers and stunt team Dauntless Movement Crew (DMC) will wow the crowds with their athleticism and gravity defying stunts and heat up the evening entertainment with an amazing fire stunts. DMC won first place at the Australian Dance Awards 2016 for their theatre show ‘Jump First Ask Later’ at the Sydney Opera House.

This event will offer a range of entertainment to cater for everyone in the family.

The fun-filled afternoon at the farm is part of Council’s collaboration with eight local clubs, to deliver one of the biggest fireworks events in South West Sydney.

Mayor Carbone said Illuminate unites families across the City in one giant celebration as fireworks are launched from nine sites across the local government area at 9pm.

“The viewing area at Calmsley Hill City Farm provides superb views of the fireworks across the Fairfield LGA and Sydney,” he said.

Fireworks will be launched from the sites of eight clubs participating in the event:

  1. Cabramatta Bowling Club
  2. Cabra-Vale Diggers Club
  3. Canley Heights RSL & Sporting Club
  4. Club Marconi
  5. Fairfield RSL
  6. Mount Pritchard and District Community Club (Mounties)
