Join us at Bonnyrigg Early Learning Centre open day

Fairfield City Council’s Bonnyrigg Early Learning Centre will hold an Open Day on Saturday 4 February so families can learn about new services at the centre.
Bonnyrigg ELC will officially re-open in 2017 as a multipurpose early education and care service. The change has been made in response to community demand for increased services.
Previously providing long day care and preschool for children aged 2-5 years only, the new multipurpose centre will provide long day care for children aged 0-3 years and extended hours preschool for children aged 3-5 years.
Mayor of Fairfield City Frank Carbone acknowledged the demand for childcare in the Fairfield Area.
“Council recognises the demand for childcare, particularly care for babies under the age of two,” Mayor Carbone said. “Bonnyrigg Early Learning Centre will provide an additional 20 places a day for children under the age of two.”
The Open Day will give families an opportunity to see the facilities, talk with Children and Family Services staff about their education and care programs and to experience the high-quality learning environments for themselves.
“Council’s early learning centres have been rated as among the highest quality in the area,” Mayor Carbone said.
“International research has proven that high-quality environments have a positive impact on the structural development of the young brain. We are proud of the role we are playing in building the brains of Fairfield.”
Parents are invited to come along and visit the Bonnyrigg Early Learning Centre Open Day. Enrol on the day and we’ll waive the $20 enrolment fee!
There will be a free barbecue, along with activities for children (including face painting). For catering purposes, please RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org or call 9725 0393.
