Inaugural Fairfield bus tour - Local Government Week 2015

Fairfield City Council is offering residents the opportunity to learn more about their city by providing a FREE two-hour bus tour during Local Government Week.

Local Government Week is fast approaching and Fairfield City Council is offering residents the opportunity to learn more about their city by providing a FREE two hour bus tour and morning tea with the Mayor.

Residents will see local attractions and various council facilities highlighting the services and initiatives Council delivers to the community. The bus tour will provide informative and interesting historical facts guaranteed to interest those on board.

The tour will kick off with a morning tea with Mayor Frank Carbone at 9.30am at the Whitlam Library, Cabramatta, before proceeding with the journey around the Local Government Area.

 “The bus tour will take residents around a number of interesting locations in our City where they will be able to learn more about our environment, our City and what Council is doing to serve the community. It is just one of the activities that Council is holding to celebrate Local Government Week, and I encourage residents to get involved,” said Mayor Carbone.
