The much anticipated, multi-million dollar Fairfield Youth and Community Centre will be officially opened by Fairfield City Council on Friday 9 October.
The Fairfield Youth and Community Centre is a 3,000 metres squared facility featuring multi-sports courts, break out space, rock climbing wall, inbuilt trampolines, and program rooms.

This $8.5 million project was a jointly-funded program by the Australian Government and Fairfield City Council, with contribution from the Mount Pritchard & District Community Club Limited (Mounties).
Mayor of Fairfield City, Frank Carbone said this joint venture addresses one of the community’s key priorities, to see more activities and facilities for children and youth in the City.
“I’m proud to be opening such a modern asset for our youth and community,” said the Mayor.
“This is a one of a kind facility and a huge asset for our City, that has been purpose designed in conjunction with our Youth Advisory Committee to ensure we are meeting the needs of our youth.
“The Fairfield Youth and Community Centre is a welcome addition to the best family-friendly and youth precinct in South West Sydney – Fairfield Park, which already contains our iconic Adventure Park. Hundreds of young people will be able to use this state-of-the-art centre every week, generating even more activity within this great precinct.”
Fairfield Park is a popular, family-friendly recreational precinct, which has become a regional icon drawing crowds from across the Fairfield LGA to enjoy a day out. It is just a ten minute walk from Fairfield station and CBD.
