Craft, clowns and Minions concert

Fairfield City will throw an epic party for Children’s Week 2015. Whether your child is active, crafty or more of a book worm, there will be activities to interest all!
Fairfield Park and surrounds will be the backdrop for this amazing family fun day that will have free face painting, clowns, science, kite making, drumming, an animal farm, air brush tattooing, craft and dance activities. The event will also feature The Minions musical experience LIVE!
Unleash your imagination while enjoying myths, legends and folktales from around the world with activities by Paint Fairfield REaD storytelling fun.
The Australian Museum will be on hand to host science activities and demonstrations, and the Fairfield City Museum and Gallery will encourage children’s creativity with special art workshops.
Active kids can enjoy toddler soccer, children’s netball from Netball NSW, NFL sessions and parkour tricking workshops by local group DMC.
This family festival will be held at the just-opened Fairfield Youth and Community Centre in Fairfield Park, an amazing new asset to our City that sits next to the popular Fairfield Adventure Park. Come down to enjoy the day and see the latest addition to this precinct.
Families are encouraged to catch public transport for this popular event; Fairfield railway station is only a short 10-minute walk away. Don’t forget a hat and a refillable water bottle for you and your child. The event will still go ahead even with light rain.
The celebration is an alcohol and smoke free event. Parents are responsible for the supervision of their children at all times.
