Council will celebrate Seniors Week 2018 with a number of free exciting events at wheelchair accessible venues.
Seniors Talent Quest
Presented by Council, CORE Community Services and Seniors Services Interagency, the Seniors Talent Quest returns to entertain crowds and showcase the creativity, fun and talent of the City's senior community. There will be lucky door prizes, plus the first 600 people to register will receive a complimentary lunch voucher.

Spin A Yarn: Social Knitting Group
Meet new people and swap yarns with fellow knitters. Participants will knit and crochet poppies to be used in a 2018 Remembrance Day installation in Canberra.

Seniors Health Day
Cabravale Leisure Centre will once again play host to an array of engaging entertainment for seniors which promotes healthy lifestyles. There will be water and land based activities, a health expo, self defence session, nutritional seminar, free hearing checks and live entertainment. Morning tea will be served from 10am and a members only lunch will be available from 12.30pm.
