It’s on again! The 2021 Capture Fairfield Visual Arts & Photography Competition has launched and Council is on the lookout for the best artistic interpretations of Fairfield City landscapes, experiences and attractions.

This year the competition brings bigger prizes to new and emerging local talent under the theme of ‘Love Where You Live’. From the unique streetscapes to the busy hustle of city centres and magic sunsets, it’s time to share what you love most about your City.

“Since its inception in 2017, the Capture Fairfield competition has steadily grown in popularity, producing works that capture our diverse, colourful and inclusive spirit,” Fairfield City Mayor Frank Carbone said.

“From beginners to established artists, photographers and graphic designers, the competition is open to everyone, so show us what you’ve got.” Entering the competition is a simple three-step process:

  • Visit Fairfield City Council’s website www.fairfieldcity.nsw.gov.au/capturefairfield
  • Complete the online entry form
  • Upload a photograph of your work.

Submissions close on Sunday 27 June, and winners will be announced on 27 July.

The winning entries will be on display at Council’s Administration Centre and Whitlam Library Cabramatta as part of Local Government Week in August. Entry is open to residents of Fairfield City and students who attend a school within the Fairfield Local Government Area.

Full terms and conditions are available at www.fairfieldcity.nsw.gov.au/capturefairfield.
