Due to the high numbers of testing being undertaken, and to take some of the pressure off Fairfield Hospital and the drive-through clinic currently operating at Fairfield Showground, another COVID-19 testing clinic will operate out of Endeavour Reserve in Fairfield West from Tuesday, 21 July.

The FREE drive-through clinic will operate at extended hours to meet the needs of the community.

It will operate from 8.30am to 7pm on Tuesday 21 July and from 8am to 7pm from Wednesday, 22 July.

Entry to the Endeavour Reserve drive-through clinic is from Maud Street, Fairfield West.

Drivers are instructed to follow directions of staff at the grounds, and present their licence and Medicare card. They will be tested without having to leave their car. Anyone in the vehicle can be tested, including children.

No referral is required for the FREE test.

“I would like to thank the people of Fairfield for responding to the call to get tested. The numbers have been overwhelming and it just shows how seriously our community is taking this virus. It’s only by getting tested that we can know how widespread the virus is and protect the community.

“I would like to thank NSW Health for working so quickly with Fairfield Council so quickly to set the drive through clinic up for our residents.”
