Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library of Australia is a free book gifting program devoted to inspiring a love of reading in the hearts of children everywhere. Each month, enrolled children receive a high-quality, age-appropriate book in the mail free of charge. The books will come accompanied by a family “tip sheet”, also being translated in various languages, which will help families engage with the book in ways that drive language development and early literacy.

In partnership with Fairfield City Council, the Imagination Library supports all children born from 1 January 2022, by providing books and literacy resources. This program is funded until June 2024.

The Imagination Library:

  • Provides a new book each month to eligible families.
  • Delivers books to your home.
  • Is available from birth.
  • Let's your child keep the books for free.
