Fairfield City Photographer Program 2021

Fairfield City Council are on the look out for a City photographer for the 2021 Fairfield City Photographer program.

This will be an annual program documenting Fairfield City’s history through a growing collection of photographs that will feature on the Fairfield City Heritage Collection website, and in library branches as part of an exhibition later in the year.

The successful applicant will receive $3,000 to create a new series of photographs that capture the essence of Fairfield City, developing a thematic history of the local area.

Emerging and professional photographers are invited to apply by submitting a portfolio accompanied by a short pitch/plan outlining their proposed theme and approach.

Fairfield City Council are committed to bringing opportunities to all members of our community and are mindful of the need for inclusivity and diversity in all aspects of its operations. In keeping with this, individuals with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander or CALD backgrounds or those living with a disability are encouraged to apply.

Submissions close on Sunday 30 May 2021.
