Learn the art of podcasting and interviewing and join the GEN20 Media Crew at the Bring It On! Festival at Fairfield Showground.
Interested in the world of podcasting and VODcasting? Want to learn how to use recording and camera equipment? Join us at Studio 2166 for a free 6-week workshop series in podcasting and digital media.
- These workshops will explore the art of creating podcasts in a video format. You will learn how to set-up and use recording equipment, and how to write and present podcasts or interview questions for digital media.
- After the workshops, all participants will have the chance to put their skills into practice as the GEN20 Media Crew at the Bring It On! Festival for Youth Week by interviewing young local performers in your very own media tent!
Who: This workshop series is FREE to young people aged 12-24 living (or spending most of their time in) the Fairfield City area. No experience required - all skill levels welcome!
Where: Studio 2166 in the Whitlam Library, 165 Railway Pde, Cabramatta

Workshops will be on every Thursday 4:30pm-6:30pm starting 9 March 2023 for 6 weeks. All participants will then put their skills into practice with their mentor at the Bring It On! Festival on Sunday 23 April 2023.

What will be provided: All recording and studio equipment will be provided for your use at the workshops and the festival. You do not need your own gear.
Free dinner is provided at all sessions!
