Hosted by South West Sydney Centre this online training session is for health professionals who want practical advice to support clients with their Victims Services applications.

If you have had to fill out a Certificate of Injury, write a support letter or would just like know more about how to support clients experiencing domestic & family violence, this training is for you.

The training will cover:

  • Overview of the Victims Support Scheme & the support available
  • Evidentiary requirements
  • Writing support letters
  • Filling out Certificates of Injury
  • Sharing of sensitive information
  • Case and practice examples
  • Legal help for clients and how to make referrals
  • Learn more about the team at South West Sydney Legal Centre

It is suitable for practitioners in New South Wales, including doctors, counsellors, psychologists, psychiatrists, mental health workers or drug & alcohol specialists.
