Learn videography and get experience with being on a film crew at a real-life event by joining the GEN20 Film Crew at the Bring It On! Festival at Fairfield Showground.
Interested in learning videography and want to get hands on experience in a film crew? Join us at the Prairiewood Youth and Community Centre for a free 6-week workshop series in event videography.
- These workshops will cover practical skills in camera operation and provide hands on experience with professional western Sydney based artists/mentors.
- You will also learn and experience how camera crews operate in real life. Build your knowledge around the different roles involved in event videography, practical skills on set and the ins-and-outs of film gear.
- After the workshops, all participants will have the chance to put their skills into practice as the Film Crew at the Bring It On! Festival for Youth Week!
Who: This workshop series is FREE to young people aged 12-24 living (or spending most of their time in) the Fairfield City area. No experience required - all skill levels welcome!
Where: Prairiewood Youth and Community Centre, 194-222 Restwell Rd, Prairiewood

Workshops will be on every Monday 4:30pm-6:30pm starting 6 March 2023 for 6 weeks. All participants will then put their skills into practice with their mentor at the Bring It On! Festival on Sunday 23 April 2023.

What will be provided: All camera, mics and other film equipment will be provided for your use at the workshops and the festival. You do not need your own gear.
