Event Information

What is the date for Bring It On! Festival 2022?

Bring It On! Festival 2022 will be held on Sunday 10 April 2022.

What time will the festival run?

1pm to 6pm

Bring It On! Festival is a free ticketed event. 

Where can I get tickets?

Is it Covid Safe?

In the lead up to the event, Fairfield City Council will closely monitor the NSW Health guidelines, and make changes accordingly to ensure a Covid safe event.

How can I get to Bring It On! Festival?

There will be a free shuttle bus service operating on loop from Cabramatta station to the showground with return services.

 Entertainment

What entertainment will there be on the day?

There will be two main stages jam packed with entertainment including live local music artists, dance schools and cultural performances.

Get ready for fitness demos, hip hop dance classes, martial arts workshop, youth services info stalls and loads more. Go on thrilling rides like the Freestyle, Dodgem cars, Music trip, Round-up and Hurricane.

A quiet space is also available for those who need some rest!

Can I bring chairs or a picnic blanket?

Bring a picnic mat! There will plenty of space and area to seek shade if needed at Fairfield Showground. Chairs will not be permitted as this damages the grass.

What should I wear?

Appropriate clothing and footwear for the venue and for weather conditions. Please ensure you bring everything you require for the event i.e. jacket or ponchos. Ensure you are fully prepared for all types of weather scenarios.

What items am I not permitted to bring in with me?

Items prohibited include:

  • Alcohol and illegal substances;
  • No personal BBQ’s, cooking equipment, gas cylinders, helium cylinders, or electrical appliances;
  • Party Poppers;
  • Unsealed water bottles – sealed bottles may be permitted;
  • Camel bags or similar water containers;
  • Knives or other dangerous weapons including potential missiles;
  • Flares, fireworks or sparklers;
  • Lasers or laser pointers;
  • Animals or pets (other than guide dogs);
  • Professional recording or broadcast devices (other than mobile phones);
  • Drones;
  • Walkie-talkies;
  • Flags with poles, large flags or banners that may obstruct the view of other patrons;
  • Protest paraphernalia and banners;
  • Any person bearing or wearing gang colours, patches or insignias are not permitted entry to the event;
  • Any item that you intend (or such quantities of the item from which the Event Organiser can reasonably infer that you intend) to distribute, hawk, sell, offer, expose for sale or display for marketing or promotional purposes;
  • Any dangerous goods;
  • Any other items as determined by Security or Event Organiser that may cause injury or public nuisance.

Are there ATM’s on site?

Yes, there is an ATM available on site. We encourage all visitors to use cashless payments at the event.

Can I bring my pet?

For the safety of pets and animals (excluding guide dogs and service animals) are not permitted at Fairfield Showground.

Is smoking allowed?

No person is permitted to smoke in the areas within the Fairfield Showground complex identified as “Smoke Free Zones”.

What happens if it rains?

In the event of wet weather the event site will be assessed to determine the suitability to continue the event and program. This message will be updated accordingly.

Can I take photos/film on the night?

Photos can be taken for personal use. Professional photography (including the use of tripods for safety reasons) will not be permitted on the night without prior consent from Fairfield City Council’s Communications team.

Food and Beverage

Can we bring our own food?

Yes, picnics are most welcomed. There will be plenty of delicious food trucks and drink options available.

No personal BBQs, cooking equipment, gas cylinders, helium cylinders or electrical appliances are to be brought into Fairfield Showground.

Can I bring alcohol?

No. This is an alcohol-free event. Bag searches at entry will be conducted.

 

Parking

Where can I park?

There is over 600 free parking spots available at Fairfield Showground.

Alternatively, free parking is available in surrounding streets. Please adhere to traffic rules. 

Accessible Parking

Accessible parking spaces are available, subject to availability.

A kiss and drop zone is available at the Showground entrance.

Please ensure that you display your Mobility Parking Scheme Permit on your dashboard. 

  

Other questions

I would like to perform at the event. What do I need to do?

Our entertainment program is currently full. However, we can add you to our entertainment database. Please send an email with your details to events@fairfieldcity.nsw.gov.au.

I would like to be a stallholder for the event. What do I need to do?

Applications for stallholders and community stakeholders have closed. However, we can add you to our stallholder database. If you are interested in becoming a stallholder for future events, please send an email with your details to events@fairfieldcity.nsw.gov.au.
