We are excited to announce that Fairfield City’s premier New Year’s Eve ‘Illuminate’ event is back!

Join us at Fairfield Showground on Friday 31 December from 5pm as we send off 2021 with a picnic and fireworks celebration under the stars.

The popular event will see an exciting line up of family-friendly entertainment, food, free rides and spectacular fireworks finale at 9.30pm.

Tickets are available to Fairfield City residents, and to residents outside the Fairfield LGA also.

Tickets are free with a $3 booking fee.

Getting There

443 Smithfield Road, Prairiewood will get you to our main entry at Gate 2.

You must have pre-purchased your tickets to attend this event.

The closest train stations to Fairfield Showground are Fairfield, Canley Vale and Cabramatta.

Plenty of train services will run to get you there and home again. Visit Transport NSW for all the details you need to plan your trip.

There are bus stops located in and around Fairfield Showground.
