Get down to Fairfield Leisure Centre

Our Leisure Centres are important places for us all to get healthy and active, and our focus is on developing the best facilities across all three centres to ensure that there is something for everyone.

With the addition of a new interactive babies’ pool at Fairfield Leisure Centre, our youngest residents are now having even more fun in the water.

The $500,000 upgrade was completed in time for the swimming season and has quickly become a popular place for young children to cool off with their families.

The new babies’ pool has water sprayers and play equipment, which encourage fun activity as well as building confidence in and around water.

As well as the new babies’ pool there is also the activity tower and the tipping bucket, which is always popular with kids of all ages.

Adding these sorts of services to the area, including the Fairfield Youth and Community Centre and Adventure Park, builds upon Council’s vision of creating a family-friendly recreational precinct for the people right here in Fairfield, with something for everyone.

Council also supports the health of our senior residents, with heavily discounted Seniors membership rates as well as free pool entry for those aged 60 and over during off-peak times. We are one of very few councils that do this.

Council continues to invest not only in new infrastructure, but existing facilities to ensure we are delivering services that will encourage families to get out and about, and enjoy our affordable facilities in a safe and fun environment.

So if you haven’t been out already, I encourage you to drop in to Fairfield Leisure Centre and take advantage of the affordable family fun on offer.
