Create NSW worked in consultation with the Aboriginal arts and cultural sector to develop this resource. Driven by self-determination, these Aboriginal Arts and Culture Protocols have been developed as a series of suggested questions within five key principles that Aboriginal artists, arts workers and organisations should consider as a minimum standard.

Creative Australia produced the First Nations Cultural and Intellectual Property in the Arts. This protocol guide encourages self-determination and helps build a strong and diverse Indigenous arts sector. These are key goals and priority areas of the Australia Council for the Arts.
