Benefits

Flexible Working Hours

Full time employees have the opportunity to request a flexible working arrangement. This may include a 9-day fortnight at Council (Subject to operational requirements).

Superannuation Fund

Council pays 9.5% superannuation in accordance with the Superannuation Guarantee Act. These contributions are paid into an Australian compliant superannuation fund of your choice.

Leave options

Annual Leave

Employees receive four weeks paid annual leave, with pro-rata available for part-time employment.

Long Service Leave

Available after five years of continuous service.

Parental Leave

Taking time away from work for a new baby is a common part of working life. Our employees have entitlements which help new parents spend more time with their new baby and help us keep skilled and valuable staff. On top of the 18-week Government Funded Paid Parental Leave (PPL) scheme, we also offer generous parental leave entitlements.

Sick Leave

Employees receive 15 days paid sick leave per year, with pro-rata available for part-time employment.
