Fairfield City Health Alliance - Gambling Working Group

The Fairfield City Health Alliance - Gambling Working Group was formed in 2019: The group is lead by a partnership between Fairfield City Council, SouthWest Sydney Local Health District, and the SouthWest Sydney PHN. A number of community partners also participate in the working group which works to address gambling harm through community awareness raising activities, projects, GambleAware week and research.

Screening Tool for Gambling Harm: A Pilot Project

The screening tool is an early intervention tool to identify individuals who experience gambling harm either as gamblers or ‘affected others’ and is intended to be used in community organisations, community-based health services as well as by general practitioners.
