A new era for sport in Fairfield City
Council is proud to announce the official opening of Endeavour Sports Park, a state-of-the-art sporting and recreational precinct in Fairfield West.
This $16 million transformation, funded by the NSW Government’s Western Sydney Infrastructure Grants Program in partnership with Council, delivers on our commitment to provide world-class facilities for our growing community.
A hub for grassroots sport and community connection
Endeavour Sports Park is more than just a place to play - it’s a vibrant destination where families, schools, and local clubs come together to train, compete, and connect. The upgraded precinct now features:
- 2 FIFA-accredited synthetic soccer fields with rockfill infill and integrated cooling systems—the only ones of their kind in Sydney
- 2 full-size futsal courts available for casual hire, starting from $55 per hour
- 17 multipurpose courts catering to basketball, netball, volleyball, futsal, and pickleball
- 5 renewed grass sports fields with irrigation and high performance lighting for play day or night
- Refurbished amenities and expanded car parking for comfort and convenience.
Built for performance, designed for community
The new synthetic fields offer consistent traction and all-weather durability, making them ideal for competitive matches and grassroots training. High-performance 200lx lighting ensures evening play is possible, supporting local-level competition and training sessions.
Celebrating local champions
The opening event featured the unveiling of Fairfield City’s Wall of Football Champions, honouring players and coaches who have represented Australia and called Fairfield home. This tribute underscores the park’s role in nurturing future sporting legends.
