COVID-19 pop up clinic

NSW Health has announced that it is opening a FREE pop-up COVID-19 testing clinic at Cabramatta Community Centre.

The clinic will run from Tuesday 16 June to Saturday 20 June, and Tuesday 23 June to Saturday 27 June, 9.30am to 4pm.

Cabramatta Community Centre is located at the corner of Railway Parade and McBurney Road, Cabramatta. Off street parking is available at Arthur Street and Fisher Street.

“Council is pleased that NSW Health is providing these free testing clinics. We’ve had a pop-up clinic already in Fairfield, a drive-through clinic at the Showground and now another pop-up clinic in Cabramatta,” Mayor Frank Carbone said.

“Providing the opportunity for our residents across the city to be tested, will give us reassurance as a community that the virus is not prevalent amongst us.

“It’s about giving confidence to us as a community and also for us as a Council to have the confidence to open up our services while still being responsible and ensuring we have COVID safe plans in place.”

NSW Health is advising anyone with a fever, cough, sore/scratchy throat or shortness of breath to be tested. No referrals or appointments are required.

Residents can also get tested for FREE at Fairfield Hospital from 10am to 5.30pm weekdays and 10am to 3pm on weekends and public holidays.
