Our local government area currently consists of two wards – Parks and Fairfield/Cabravale. All councils must review their ward boundaries before the next local government election, to ensure equal numbers of voters in each ward.

We’re proposing to adjust the Ward boundary in the suburb of Mount Pritchard, bounded by Elizabeth Drive, Cabramatta Road, and the Cumberland Highway. This area will be moved from the Fairfield/Cabravale Ward to the Parks Ward, evening out the resident numbers in each ward and impacting approximately 5,401 voters.

A report was adopted at the Council meeting on Tuesday, 25 July, and you can provide comments on the proposal until 11 September 2023.

To learn more about the adjustment proposal, go to Council's public notices page. Or visit us at our Administration Centre at 86 Avoca Road Wakeley, or any of our libraries in Bonnyrigg, Cabramatta, Fairfield, Wetherill Park and Smithfield.
