At the Outcomes Committee meeting held on 13 May 2025, Council resolved to adopt the Fairfield City Wide Development Control Plan (FCW DCP) 2024 – Amendment 1. The amended plan will come into effect on Monday 26 May 2025. A copy of the Council report can be viewed via the link below:

This public notice of the Fairfield City Wide Development Control Plan (FCW DCP) 2024 – Amendment 1 identifies the date on which it will come into effect (26 May 2025) in accordance with the requirements of the Environmental Plan and Assessment Regulation 2021.
Upon the commencement of the Fairfield City Wide Development Control Plan (FCW DCP) 2024 – Amendment 1 the following development control plan will be amended:
- Local Infrastructure Contribution Plan 2023 (Section 7.11 and Section 7.12)
The Amendment No.1 will implement changes to address various issues associated with future developments identified by a range of key stakeholders. The updates focus on revising existing chapters to reflect ongoing changes in development and environmental standards, ensuring the document remains current and user-friendly for both proponents and assessment officers.
